how to write a good CV

Note from a CV workshop in EURECOM:


1.logo (if possible, put the logo pf your school or company where you have been worked in in your CV, so that HR can identify) quickly as generally HR only spends 8 seconds to scan your CV


2.photo, should be professional (no beach :) ), America forbidden, European not mandatory


3.content:

  • a quick summary (two sentences)
  • contact details (include linked in)
  • title (your terget: eg: Telecom system engineer looking for an internship ....)
  • education
  • technical skills (write it correctly, should really know these skills, will be asked in interview, be honest)
  • internship (your role, responsibility, achievement, technical skills involved, environment...)
  • school projects
  • languages (first mother tongue, in level (basic, intermediate, fluent, bilingual), to be specific, you can also write, professional language in which company... )
  • volunteering (option)
  • hobbies (option)
  • references (if you apply a job in UK, it will be appreciated because they could call your references for recommendation)
